Because life has been getting in the way, I was amazed to spot that it’s been nearly a year since I last posted here!
So, I’m pleased to say a couple of days attending talks at the Fujikina event in London’s Covent Garden gave me the kick required to take, process and post a varied set of images, all linked by location in this entertaining area of London.
I lived close by in Bloomsbury in the late 1970s, and it was interesting to see how the area has come up - it’s tidier and more prosperous, but the attractive and classic commercial architecture remains. There are still stylishly photogenic visitors and locals aplenty, and although most of the day’s light was flat and dull, a little rain later on brought out umbrellas to add shape, structure and colour.
